Increase market share of Henry Schein TechCentral by selling information technology products and services to dental offices throughout the country via telephone contact and live demonstrations. Provide sales support to our outside sales team. Attend various tradeshows and seminars throughout the country demonstrating and providing vital information on the product to increase sales.


  • Sell information technology products (computers, phone systems, backup solutions, etc.) both via telephone contact (inbound and outbound sales) and in person contact through seminars and tradeshow participation. Activities include:

  • Achieve monthly sales goals by following the set sales process with emphasis on proper qualifying the potential client, helping provide the best solutions for the client, and close the sale in a satisfactory manner. Effectively and efficiently manage the sales territory.

  • Ensure all orders are documented and processed properly in a timely manner.

  • Organize and attend seminars in respective territory for both upgrade and new system sales opportunities.

  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.

In addition to the essential duties and responsibilities listed above, all positions are also responsible for:

  • Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures including WorldWide Business Standards.

  • Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.


Experience in the IT industry is preferred.

Two years sales experience, both telephone and direct sales.

Proven stability at previous position.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of sales process, experience in qualifying, presenting and closing sales. Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal. Knowledge of computers/software. Ability to multi-task with a positive upbeat attitude.

· Technical knowledge of desktop and server specifications, network infrastructure technology, and computer components.

· Excellent computer skills included: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) a must.

· Familiar with Microsoft and Windows software and licensing.

· Technical experience with build and basic installation of computer equipment, desktops, servers, RAID, MS Office products, network appliances, terminal services, routers, firewalls, components and upgrades, switches, backup systems,

· Preparing technical proposal from RFP.

· Quote research and preparation.
