Summary :

The Device Lifecycle Analyst is responsible for tracking assets throughout their life-cycle from procurement to disposal. The IT Device Lifecycle Analyst will perform asset management reviews and audits for assets that fall under the scope and responsibility of Information Technology, ensuring consistency and compliance with policies, procedures, and workflow guidelines. They will also conduct asset audits to ensure accurate and complete documentation, and identify trends used to improve service. The Device Lifecycle Analyst will proactively develop asset management standards and performance improvement goals, and monitor to ensure success. The Device Lifecycle Analyst will also follow up on quality gaps and data integrity issues, ensuring resolution and future compliance and data accuracy. Other responsibilities include monitoring inventory re-order thresholds and initiating procurement at thresholds.

Device Lifecycle Analyst is a leveraged position which may also be involved in evaluating asset requests, reconciling shipped goods with purchase orders, evaluating the condition of goods on receipt, and coordinating delivery of the goods to the requesting entity or inventory store.

Responsibilities :

  • Provides Asset Management process knowledge to Ascension Health ministries,

  • Guides ministries to manage hardware/software technology standards (i.e. keep accurate asset inventories and maintain plans for deployment of standard technologies).

  • Forecasts refresh cycles and communicates refresh requirements and schedules.

  • Prepares audit plans and schedules and conducts independent audits.

  • Develops corrective actions plans for any audit issues.

  • Provides inventory reports or other important KPI reports related to assets.

  • Tracks and monitors the fulfillment of asset requests.

  • Works closely with configuration management to ensure important assets are tracked as configuration items.

  • Provides access to asset records to enable audit by departments/organizations that are receiving charges for depreciation, lease payments, license fees, etc.

  • Reconciliation of disposed end user devices.

  • Monitor inventory thresholds and initiate procurement as appropriate to retain target volumes.

  • Verify the accuracy of shipment and the condition of the product, and work with appropriate resources to store in designated, secured location until needed for the release process.

  • This position is with AIS and will have local and national responsibilities in the support of IT end users and IT quality initiatives across Ascension

  • Willingness to reside within a commutable distance from the assigned ministry.

  • Willingness to travel approximately10%, and up to 30% for limited periods, in support of other AH locations.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's Level Degree

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Work Experience:

  • Two years of experience preferred.
