Job DescriptionThe Manager of IT Infrastructure Architecture and IAM position is a technical/management role. The Infrastructure Architecture and IAM Manager will lead a Team of SME’s versed in Infrastructure Systems Architecture and Identity and Access Management. The Manager of this team will be directing the scoping and design of Infrastructure Systems specifically targeting our Identity and Access Management systems, Server, Virtualization, Operating system, Storage and Networking capabilities. The successful candidate will be a dedicated partner to various stakeholder groups and a leader with a proven track record of implementing forward looking technology solutions. The ideal candidate must have both leadership and technical skills to effectively and efficiently manage IT Infrastructure technologies and personnel.

Responsibilities:

Operation Management

  • Implement Identity and Access Management implementations with a focus on role management, attribute access controls and risk based authentication models across people, process and technologies

  • Link Infrastructure Architecture solutions and IAM controls to compliance requirements as defined in PCI-DSS, HIPAA, PII, Sarbanes-Oxley and other compliance needs as required

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the IT group including ticket system, assignment of work and providing high level reporting

  • Prepare overall status and activity metrics that documents and tracks delivery of IT services, planned and unplanned system outages, and other key IT performance metrics

  • Maintain overall security of the company’s network, systems, and data

  • Ensures high availability of critical business systems

  • Manage staff members in their daily activities as well as supporting business projects

  • Develop and manage relationships with vendors in support of staff augmentation and systems support

  • Manage overall capacity utilization of Infrastructure systems and necessary licensing ensuring it is optimized to meet business requirements

  • Perform technical and architecture reviews for engagements and solution deployments. Participate in problem and root-cause analysis activities to understand potential gaps in architecture design

Strategy & Planning

  • Contribute to the development of IT departmental strategies to align with the overall business strategy as well as corporate strategy

  • Anticipate the interaction and dependency of mobile, digital and cloud security solutions and the impact on infrastructure and IAM architectures and solutions

  • Implement, and maintain processes and procedures for effective delivery of services and compliance with regulatory guidance

  • Establish and implement 'best-practice' standards as well as departmental policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of IT experience with 6 years of progressive management experience preferred

  • 5 years demonstrated experience managing vendors and outside technology relationships

  • Must have a working knowledge of IAM security structures, Windows Servers, and Active Directory

  • Experience managing environments in AWS and Azure preferred

  • Must have proven management skills with the ability to mentor staff members

  • Must have proven experience or demonstrated capability in leading IT infrastructure groups in complex and dynamic environments

  • Must be a champion for pushing IT standards, procedures, policies, and best practices to the infrastructure team

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. This includes the ability to explain solution concepts and technologies to business leaders, as well as business concepts to technologists, and the ability to sell ideas and processes internally at all levels

  • Must be very proactive in understanding and staying up-to-date on the current projects in progress, projects in pipeline and operational issues. Similarly, must stay up-to-date with industry technology trends and applicability of software/hardware solutions

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent preferred

  • CISSP or CIAM preferred

  • ITIL Certification preferred
