JMT's Austin, Texas office is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to be responsible for proposal preparation, coordination, and marketing efforts in Texas.
Functions and responsibilities
Coordinate, prepare, and review letters of interest, technical proposals, and presentations within company branding guidelines
Manage and organize various aspects of the proposal process meeting internal and external client deadlines
Proofread copy for spelling, punctuation, and grammar and assist in creating a concise message
Assist in quality control and review to ensure completed proposals are professional, cohesive, and credible
Enter and update data within CRM database, from tracking leads through all pursuit phases
Maintain marketing materials including resumes, boilerplate information, project descriptions, photographs, and subconsultant information
Work closely with project managers, technical team and other marketing staff
Interact with vendors and clients
Participate in pre-proposal meetings, kickoff meetings, debriefs, etc.
Follow JMT’s Quality Management System (QMS) marketing procedures
Provide other functions of marketing and administrative duties, as assigned
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, journalism, communication, or related field or equivalent years of experience
Minimum 3 to 5 years of related experience with an A/E firm preferred (transportation and/or municipal proposal experience, a plus)
Experience with marketing database software
Experience with graphics and publishing software (Adobe products)
Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but will require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
