STANDARDIZATION & EVALUATIONS MANAGER- CONUS (AFGSC-17-0890-Z)

Bowhead is seeking Standardization & Evaluations (Stan/Eval) Manager qualified personnel to augment Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) squadrons. The focus of work is to support non-flying additional duty positions traditionally filled by rated aircrew

members. Nine (9) Stan/Eval support personnel are required at 5 different AFGSC locations (Dyess AFB, Barksdale AFB, Ellsworth AFB, Minot AFB and Whiteman AFB).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Maintain accountability and control of flight testing materials.

  2. Update data in PEX, future equivalent systems to PEX, and locally-devel oped computer database systems as required.

  3. Interface with Host Aviation Resource Management (HARM) personnel to update the Aviation Resource Management System (ARMS) or future equivalent systems to ARMS as required.

  4. Coordinate with training officer to review and update student/permanent party records, folders and grade books per the applicable AFIs: AFI 11-202V2 and AFI 11-2MDS-V2 as well as associated ACC/Installation supplements, and locally-developed guidance.

  5. Notify crewmembers, scheduling, and unit leadership of upcoming and overdue testing, evaluation, and training requirements via e-mail, telephone or in person.

  6. Generate the following reports/forms as required:

  7. Evaluation and testing status and trend data reports.

  8. Provide data to OGV for standardization evaluation board (SEB) 6-month report.

  9. AF Form 8, Qualification of Aircrew Qualification.

  10. Perform testing administrator duties/function for the unit.

  11. Conduct monthly reviews of those aircrews entering into the first month of evaluation eligibility period.

  12. Interpret AFIs and provide guidance and to personnel assigned to Stan/Eval shops to help track training and readiness status of squadron personnel.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Minimum of two years of experience working in a Fighter Squadron/Group/Wing Stan/Eval shop or, five years of experience working in a DoD Flying Squadron/Group/Wing Stan/Eval office.

  2. Minimum two years of experience working with PEX or similar proprietary Stan/Eval programs.

  3. Security Clearance: Current Secret

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: A SECRET clearance is required for all personnel. US Citizenship is a requirement for a clearance at this location.

Physical Demands: The office environmental conditions consist of computer stations and desks with adequate and adjustable lighting. Chairs are designed to fit the various individuals and the tasks being performed. Ergonomic evaluations are completed as needed,

to provide up to date modifications to all work stations.
