Job Summary

The Director IT Services Administration provides accurate financial cost analyses, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting that support good business decisions. Direct the 24/7/365 service desk, mobile device provisioning and management, and user access account management for all DI applications. Responsible for vendor management, establish KPIs, and operational and financial metrics associated with ongoing productivity, projects and other initiatives.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Support IT management with the creation and maintenance of the IT expense budgets, forecasts and monitoring of spending against plan. Provide expense analysis and projections to assist management with cost control

  • Analyze financial results by identifying drivers and variances from prior year, budget and forecast, and articulate recommendations that will improve future results

  • Partner with appropriate resources to develop tools and procedures that will automate essential processes to improve efficiency of financial reporting, forecasting and budget management.

  • Track and forecast software maintenance contracts, contractor expenses as well as other large expense categories.

  • Define and establish KPIs, operational and financial metrics associated with ongoing productivity, projects and outsourced initiatives

  • Build organizational capability through continuous improvement activities; originate action to improve existing conditions and processes; identify improvement opportunities, generate ideas, and implement solutions

  • Direct the 24/7/365 service desk, mobile device provisioning and management, and user access account management for all DI applications

  • Performs other duties as assigned Knowledge & Skills

  • High level of analytical capability and solid understanding of financial concepts is required, enabling the associate to take initiative and function independently on a variety of recurring and ad hoc financial and operational projects

  • Proficient knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley and GAAP accounting standards for software development, infrastructure, and general IT business domains

  • Proficient knowledge of accounting and finance including variance analysis, revenue/cost forecasting techniques, fixed/variable costs, operations vs. capital expenditures, and present value concepts

  • Possess strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills

  • Proficient ability to influence others regarding financial transaction agreements including the ability to explore alternatives to reach amicable outcomes accepted by all parties

  • Demonstrate a poised, credible, and confident demeanor that reassures others and encourages respect; conveying an image that is consistent with the organization’s vision and values

  • Lead the creating and maintenance of the IT budget, forecasts and monitoring spend against plan. Provide expense analysis and projections to assist with cost control.

  • Define and establish KPIs, operational and financial metrics associated with ongoing productivity, projects and other initiatives

  • Lead IT SOX audit and IT compliance sustainment related to BSR

  • Primary POC for document (Legal) Hold Process

  • Change Management administration

  • Investigations/eDiscovery support for Legal and HR

    Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree with a major field of study in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field; MBA preferred

  • Twelve (12) years progressively responsible experience in information technology or financial analysis

  • Ten (10) years of experience conducting financial analysis/modeling required

  • Five (5) years of experience in financial analysis and leadership in a corporate IT, defense contractor, or large scale IT consulting environment preferred

  • Experience with Costpoint financial preferred

    Physical Requirements/Working Environment

  • Works in a normal office environment with controlled temperature and lighting conditions.

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, as required
