This position will independently perform as a recognized technical expert in the area of technical information management, system integration or project management. Assignments will result in studies, evaluations, recommendations and solutions to highly complex and important engineering or technical problems. The position will be required to work independently.
The position may be assigned the role of a project manager responsible for managing the integration and/or development and delivery of large and complex deliverables directly to a customer, or in support of a major Company program.
The position will analyze and evaluate the customer needs and proposes the complete work flow that will satisfy those needs. It will lead all requirements workshops that define the “as is” and “to be” work processes.
The position will prioritize the customer needs from the point of view of engineering/construction value, and obtains customer agreement on those priorities. It will also work with the development team to ensure configuration is being developed to meet customer needs and assist with business testing prior to delivery.
Contributions at this level may impact the Company direction in the areas of design, development and production of Company products. The position acts as advisor to management and customers on advanced technical research and applications.

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Plant operation fields
Minimum 10 years related experience in the area of EPC Engineering operations and maintenance experience with major owner operators
Experienced or knowledgeable in the work processes related to plant operations for EPC projects and/or operations turnaround projects
Experienced in working with customers to define business requirements and business processes
Familiar with the implementation and management of Engineering Design, plant operations and maintenance software and databases. Administrative experience managing these systems in a production environment
Previous positions as Information Management/Systems Supervisor or Application Management Manager or Plant Operations Manager
Needs a solid understanding of engineering design, procurement and construction practices. Also should be knowledgeable in owner operator handover commissioning and start up work processes
Solid understanding of regulatory constraints for different industries
Self-directed approach to achieving results
Must be able to lead and direct a customer and project team in defining solutions and ensuring that goals and expectations are well defined and achievable
Excellent communications skills – Verbal, Written, Presentation
Commitment to customer satisfaction and quality service
Information System or Information Technology related certifications is a plus
Ability to travel at least 50%
