Education:

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Supports the development of IT general controls evaluation and testing as well as SAS70/SSAE16 analysis, internal audits and other special request. Advises and consults on assigned projects. Performs standard audits on information systems, platforms and operating procedures as directed and in accordance with established corporate standards for efficiency, accuracy and security. Assist with the evaluation of the IT infrastructure in terms of risk to the organization and recommends controls to mitigate loss.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

100% IT Audit Support

  • Performs standard audits on information systems, platforms and operating procedures as directed.

  • Assists with the evaluation of the IT infrastructure in terms of risk to the organization; recommends controls to mitigate loss.

  • Supports and obtains guidance from the Senior IT Auditor.

  • Assists with IT general control testing activities including:

  • Control design review.

  • Assembling data and information requests.

  • Data analysis.

  • Assists with and supports the evaluation of evidence collected from control design tests and operating effectiveness analyses; communicate results.

  • Assists with the assembling status and other analyses required to test compliance with SOX 404 and other compliance topics; includes SAS70/SSAE16 report reviews, SAD reporting, framework analysis.

  • Assists Senior IT Auditor with non-standard and/or complex IT internal audits as defined by annual internal audit plan and special projects.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/MINIMUM Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Familiar with standard IT auditing concepts, practices, and procedures

  • Able to perform under pressure.

  • Strong organization, analytical and data analysis skills

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • General understanding of technology, information risk concepts and audit documentation

  • Proficient with ACL, IDEA, Access, or Excel

  • Exceptional presentation and business-writing skills (MS Office)
