Job Description

Summary: Ensures projects are delivered on schedule and at budget by performing basic project management function; researching basic business and technical issues. Works with little to no supervision. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: •Works on multiple high complexity projects •Oversees and communicates IT project portfolio activities and budget status •Identifies and communicates IT project portfolio risks, scheduling conflicts and resource constraints to executive management and affected project stakeholders •Leads and coaches other project managers •Ensures attainment of and delivery to project charter, scope, schedules and budgets •Acts as a single point of contact for the project •Develop and deliver business case presentations •Conduct kick off meetings, participates on cross-functional teams, addresses inter-departmental issues; establishing and communicating project schedules, objectives, priorities, and targets •Ensure that project team and vendors/ consultants adhere to project schedule •Supervise the development and execution of project documentation such as design documents, architecture diagrams and system test plans •Document and handle project scope changes, communicate revised project schedule and issues change orders for business partner approval •Coordinates technical interpretation as required •Ensures adherence to policies, procedures, government regulations, and business requirements •Keeps project stakeholders informed on project status by reporting on project status such as: identifying risks, tests, costs, issues, and performance to established targets on a regular basis •Ensures all contracted deliverables with outside vendors or consultants are met •Researches business and technical issues to establish what is being done and where improvements are possible •Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results in a cooperative and supportive manner •Attends and participates in project closure meetings and financial meetings •Comply with Sarbanes-Oxley process requirements •Performs other duties as directed by management •Evaluate user proficiency and define training requirements to raise the level of proficiency of the users Required Education/Experience: •Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in Technology or Business •PMP Certified •Minimum of ten years of related experience and/or training •Experience with ERP systems •Working with multi-discipline teams •Strong communication skills •Experience with project scheduling •Experience in customer service oriented roles •Strong business acumen •Proficient using complete Microsoft Suite (Projects, Word, Excel, etc.) and PC skills •Proficient using SharePoint 2010 or higher •Proficient with email and calendaring system •Requires superior presentation and planning skills •Must be able to interact effectively with executives Physical Strain: •Sitting for long periods of time •Lifting 10 pounds maximum with occasional lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds
