Acts as a technical reference within the Customer Service Department while functioning as a liaison between LabCorp and its accounts in response to inquiries and problems. Evaluates new procedures on methods under direct supervision of department supervisor or group leader. Assist in training and orientation of personnel as assigned.
L abCorp is seeking an energetic, detial oriented Technician/Technologist to support our growing dedicated Divisional Hospital Service Support Team, centered in our 92,000 sq ft. Houston core laboratory facility. This department provides technical customer service support to our hospitals and hospital systems in a 21 state geography.
The ideal candidate must posses strong, effective verbal and written communication skills in the technial disciplines of hte clinical laboratory, and be able to cultivate postiive outcomes wiht all levels of hospital functional staff to include technial laboratory personnel, nurses, and physicians.
Clinical laboratory information technology/ informatics expereinces strongly preferred. Probelm resolution skills, research and an in deph knowledge of clinical testing and specimen requirements a must.
Requires an MT or MLT degree with 1-3 years of applicable experience.
