The Leader, IT Production Support is responsible for providing Network Operation Center (NOC) and advocating for the stability, availability and performance of internal and client-facing applications across multiple technologies, platforms and environments in a direct or managed services support model. Leader will also be responsible for service delivery of 24x7x365 infrastructure and user experience monitoring, Incident Management and Problem Management to ensure maximum uptime, optimal performance and SLA compliance.
Leader is responsible for the design, deployment and operations of corporate level monitoring solutions in hosted and managed services environments (Dashboard(s) (MOM), Synthetic Transactions, Event Correlation, Automation, Self-Healing and Capacity Management services).
Leader is responsible for working within an ITIL based Incident Management framework to coordinate and drive resource in order to restore normal service operation as quickly as possible minimizing the disruption to customers, partners and businesses. Using various tools, you will continually identify and drive improvement across the business in order to achieve the best possible levels of service quality and availability whilst developing best practice. You will also use various tools and methodologies to eradicate the root cause of Incidents and other factors contributing service availability.
Leader is also responsible for identifying, recommending and driving stability improvements throughout the environment.

Functional/Organizational Management Manages a team to provide production support services to an assigned area. Coaches, trains and mentors direct reports, providing opportunities for employee development. Has full performance management responsibilities creating specific goals and objectives with staff to ensure that team goals and objectives are met. Delegates assignments to subordinate staff. Staff may be in multiple locations (domestic and/or international). Responsible for coordinating efforts and meeting goals, staffing and schedule requirements across locations.
Incident Management Adopt CoreLogic standard processes for Incident Management (IM) and ensure that clear, concise and actionable communications are made to key stakeholders during the duration of an incident. Gather resources and manage incident to ensure that service is restored as quickly as possible with little disruption in the event of an incident while partnering with IT Vendor(s) and/or other personnel.
Problem Management Follow CoreLogic standard processes for Problem Management (PM) to ensure that root cause is determined for critical and escalated issues in a timely manner. Act as an advocate for fixing problems that have a high degree of recurrence and ensure assignment to owners who are held accountable for correcting them and preventing recurrences. This may include lobbying for funding to fix problems that are likely to result in repeat incidents/outages.
Monitoring and Maintaining System Integrity Ensure that the applications in domain area are stable as measured by metrics on system availability. Create and measure metrics, analyzing trends in order to avoid future problems. Develop proper monitoring and alerting processes for applications and systems. Review system capacity versus demand and perform gap analysis. Use capacity metrics to eliminate unnecessary or redundant hardware expenses. Drive the adoption of advanced monitoring, run-book automation and build & deployment automation tools into assigned application domain to minimize system down time and proactively avoid future incidents/outages for the applications/systems in the business group/unit. Establish and maintain appropriate system monitoring of Company applications and products. Participates in the monitoring review process to maintain current tools and recommend future products. Assist in assigning actionable thresholds and identifying areas in need of additional monitoring. Consult business unit teams on follow-up monitoring tasks as needed. Identifies potential monitoring areas and utilizes alerting information to remediate minor issues before they become major issues.
IT Vendor Relationship Management Coordinate projects and work assignments and monitor outcomes. Collaborate and partner with IT Vendors to ensure stability of applications. Track performance. Provide IT allocation expertise to ensure accurate billing and evaluate cost structures.
Posting Job Requirements
*Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: *
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or other related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered. MBA a plus.
- 7+ years related experience in an applicable environment, such as managing a network operations center (NOC) or IT infrastructure operations.
- 5+ years experience designing, deploying and operating monitoring solutions and products, such as BSM, BMC Patrol, BigPanda, SiteScope, PRTG, Uptrends, NetIQ.
- 7+ years managing and actively contributing to Incident and Problem Management processes.
- 7+ years of demonstrated leadership experience.
- Experience with managing outsourcing partners
- Strong IT infrastructure knowledge
- Ability to perform trending and identify areas of improvement
- Ability to lead teams in a Matrix environment to achieve performance goals in IT Infrastructure stability
- Passionate about current technological trends and how to apply that to the future vision of operations and best practices. ITIL process experience. Certification(s) a plus.
