This internship will be a Product Line Management Intern in the FNC Optical Business Unit (OBU).This position will assist Product Line Managers (PLM) and Product Technical Marketing (PTM) with the following activities:

  • Consulting with the Information Technology group and OBU PLM users to recommend automation and enhancements within the project management AHA software tool. Objective to better utilize information across product and solution boundaries

  • Assist OBU PTM to enhance search engine results within the "Marketplace" SharePoint site. This site contains all product collateral for FNC OBU product and solutions. Objective to enhance object tags and optimize search results to better organize site contents and return most timely and relevant collateral to Users

  • Assist OBU PLM to create SharePoint site as a repository for International Product Certification compliance documentation. Objective is to have an organized, searchable structure to log, track and update compliance records

Qualifications:

  • Currently progressing in a Bachelor’s degree program in business, engineering, computer science, physics, or other technically related field

  • Currently in Junior or Senior year of College

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to work in teams with strong interpersonal skills

  • Enthusiasm to act as a project lead collecting, editing, and collating information into a clear set of actions or recommendations

  • Self-motivated and self-directed in daily work to accomplish assigned tasks beyond expectations

  • Familiarity with SharePoint, AHA, PowerPoint or similar collaboration software
