Leads the Non-SAP Application Development team. Creates, develops, implements and manages the strategies of non-SAP application development that enable solution delivery that meet business functions to maximize enterprise value and support critical business strategies through secure, reliable, scalable, and agile information technology solutions.
Acts as and is responsible for being the application development chief architect. Oversees the application design, development, integration, and deployment.
Leads activities of Application Development teams.
Defines standards, practices, and procedures for application development life cycle.
Remains current on and provides guidance to IT organization on leading and emerging practices and technologies related to application development.
Participates in the development of Solution Delivery and department strategies.
Works closely with other architects and senior technical leadership to provide overall application development and deployment vision.
Manages program and project plans and communicates plan status to internal stakeholders and key customers.
Recruits, develops, mentors and coaches Application Development team.
Minimum Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in management, computer science, information technology, or related field of study is preferred
Possess one or more of the following certifications is preferred: LSS, PMP, Agile, ITIL, TOGAF.
Minimum 10 years diversified information technology experience is required.
Minimum 8 years of experience working with relative application systems is required.
Minimum 3 years as an Architect, Master Developer, Principal Technical Consultant.
Experience leading large successful implementation projects preferred.
Advanced knowledge of application system development and implementation, including integrating/interfacing applications, data modeling, database design, and support
Solid working knowledge of IT service management solutions
Ability to drive results using proven methodology such as COBIT and ITIL
Solid transformation and solution delivery leader with strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to lead and direct the work of others
Ability to build a high-performing team
Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships
