Huntington Ingalls Industries has an immediate opening for a Web Services/API Support Analyst located in San Antonio, TX. An associate’s degree and minimum of six years of IT experience are required. Applicants must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder, not requiring sponsorship. The candidate must be able to successful pass a federal background check.

Job Duties:

  • Analyze, isolate, and resolve US Federal Court web service problems. This includes but is not limited to technical, procedural, operational, and functional issues

  • Assist court staff with web tools/web applications utilized within and external to the court units

  • Maintain an online log of support requests and related resolution activity of help desk requests received from court staff

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree and a minimum of six (6) years’ of IT experience

  • Background should include:

  • Strong knowledge working with Web Services and API technologies (CSV, XML, JSON)

  • Web Content production -- HTML CSS

  • Managing website content and conducting website administration tasks

  • Ability to reference and provide support based on knowledge base and established policies and procedures

  • Working knowledge of Drupal and/or CMS

  • Drupal Advanced site building (view, context, features, feeds)

  • Knowledge and skills using incident management systems link (Remedy and HEAT Service Now)

  • Problem solver with troubleshooting, decision making and analytical skills

  • Able to work and interact with others in a structured / team environment

  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle competing work demands

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate to nontechnical audience on technical issues

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate on a technical level to a technical audience

  • Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call

  • Ability to do limited travel (0-4 times a year)
