GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Sabre Hospitality Solutions is an industry leading provider of Central Reservation Solutions to the Hospitality Industry and a business unit within Sabre Travel Network. We provide Hotel Distribution and Reservation Services to over 10,000 hotels worldwide.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for developing and/or maintaining our CRS interfaces to third party systems such as Property Management Systems (PMS), Global Distribution Systems (GDS) or travel sites such as Travelocity, Expedia and Booking.com.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of Web Service API’s that’ll allow third party systems to interface/integrate with the SHS system

  • Monitor the projects from initiation through delivery.

  • Follow project and milestone plans for critical projects to ensure that they are developed and implemented on schedule.

Job Requirements

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Working Knowledge of:

  • C# and .Net Technologies

  • XML, Web Services, WCF, ASMX, WSDL, SOAP

  • SQL, Oracle and ORMs, preferably NHibernate (or Hibernate)

  • Windows Services

  • Experience building interfaces to third party systems by developing WCF/ASMX Web Services in C#.

  • Experience and understanding of development tools (ex. Visual Studio, SVN, PL/SQL).

  • Strong Analytical skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and document internal and external processes and work flows.

PREFERENCES:

  • Property Management System experience preferred.

  • Familiarity with travel industry and OTA & HTNG standards is a plus

  • Knowledge about Agile processes and tools.

  • Working Knowledge of SVN or others Source Control Tools.

  • Product Life Cycle: Working knowledge of all phases of the product life cycle, including engineering specifications, gathering customer requirements, software design and development, testing (including unit, functional, systems and integration), implementation/delivery and maintenance.

  • Systems Integration: Knowledge of how different systems interact, including potential problems and difficulties that may occur.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • EDUCATION: Bachelor degree or equivalent required.

  • EXPERIENCE: 5+ years developing using C# and .Net Technology.
