We are looking for a Cloud Services Systems Administrator to join our hardworking and dynamic team.

As a member of our Cloud Services Department, you will be part of a team responsible for operating and maintaining all aspects of our Cloud Services offerings. Members of this team work with a broad range of technologies to support a variety of Cloud offerings hosted in our Austin and Chicago datacenter footprints. Our Cloud Services Department team's duties include installing, configuring, proactive monitoring, ongoing day-to-day management, and development of new offerings using technologies in the following areas:

  • Datacenter Infrastructure (servers, fibre channel SANs, power delivery)

  • Datacenter Networking (Cisco Nexus, Cisco Routers, Cisco ASA firewalls, SDN Network Overlays)

  • Disaster Recovery

  • VMware / vCloud Director multi-tenant IaaS.

  • Veeam Backup & Replication / Veeam Cloud Connect

  • CommVault

  • Linux (mainly Debian and CentOS distros)

  • Magento E-Commerce platform (nginx/percona/redis)

  • Citrix XenDesktop

  • Citrix Netscaler Load Balancers

  • Hosted Exchange

  • Hosted Skype for Business (Lync)

  • Scripting (PowerShell, bash, python)

  • Network Security Systems (SecureWorks, AlienVault, DDOS Protection Services)

  • Logging (rsyslog, Splunk)

  • PRTG, and other check-based and metric-based monitoring systems.

The ideal candidate would have 5-7 years working with at least some of these technologies, with the ability to demonstrate high or expert level knowledge in at least 2 areas. The ideal applicant will be self-motivated to work independently to learn and expand their technical knowledge. Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills are highly desired. Excellent client communications are desired. This position is customer-facing at times. The ideal candidate will have high levels of professional manner and appearance.

Applicant will need to be able lift 50lbs and be comfortable doing what's required to service network related equipment.
