IntelliDyne Audio/Visual Bridge Technician in Fort Sam Houston, Texas
One to three years of progressive hands on experience in a video teleconference environment (Defense Health Agency experience highly preferred)
Working experience with the operation, administration, and maintenance of a Multipoint Conferencing Unit platform.
Proficient with set up and operations of equipment such as touch panels, microphones, projectors, etc. in support of meetings, presentations, and conferences
Formal degree or certification in Computer Science, Electronics, Engineering, and Mathematics, Systems Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience required.
Tier 1 troubleshooting and maintenance of hardware
Basic knowledge of networking and ability to connect wires and cables
Attention to details
Ability to interface with clients at all levels
Excellent written and verbal communication
Time management and multi tasking skills in a fast paced environment
Active Public Trust or higher level clearance (DoD) and ability to maintain the clearance
Security +CE or other 8570 compliant certification in addition to one of the following certifications:

The Audio Visual (AV) Bridge Technician will be responsible for supporting the AV Bridge needs for the Defense Health Agency (DHA) under the Health Information Technology Directorate. Responsibilities will include coordination activities to support VideoTeleconference (VTC) calls. The AV technician will perform pre-conference coordination activities, schedule, connect, monitor VTC calls and review next day conferences for scheduling quality control. Additional responsibilities will also include:
Ensure all Bridge participants have usable audio and video prior to conference start times.
Developing process flows, providing regular and ad-hoc status reports and working with end users and site representatives to resolve any scheduling, implementation or operational issues that arise.
Development SOPs or checklists
Coordinating with VNOC personnel and on site staff before, during, and after the call
