Responsible for providing detailed design, implementation and related support services for the company network infrastructure including voice services, switches, routers, firewalls, cabling, network operating systems, and MPLS/SD-WAN connectivity using BGP/EIGRP.
Analyze business requirements for network infrastructure, data and voice connectivity and server hardware/software resources for all company locations.
Determine design and equipment specifications for servers, switches, routers, and cabling in support of business requirements.
Analyze network service and equipment offerings from suppliers to determine best value to information technology requirements. Analysis includes servers, switches, routers, network operating system (NOS), equipment power and software systems.
Troubleshoot and diagnose local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless local area networks (WLAN) reliability and performance issues. Recommend and implement solutions to issues identified.
Monitor and evaluate the performance, reliability and security of network services, analyzing trends and recommending solutions for problem prevention.
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required, bachelor’s degree preferred and four to ten years related experience.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Required Technical Skills
Prior experience with network design, implementation and support of a Cisco infrastructure (routers, switches, WAAS, WLC, Call Manager, Unity, Contact Center, and Jabber).
Working knowledge of Windows Active Directory, VPN technology, VMWARE is required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Certificates & Licenses Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Cisco Certified Network Administrator Certifications required.
Other Requirements Knowledge and prior experience with Cisco iWAN solutions and Cisco Cloud Web Security a plus.
