Raytheon Program Engagement Lead in McKinney, Texas
Perform the role of IT Program Engagement Lead (IT PEL) To develop and manage the deployment of a Program Work Environments (PWE) within in support of our product and R&D programs. This position will work to primarily to accommodate the requirements of the ISRS, Intelligence Surveillance & Reconnaissance Systems, and ACT, Advanced Concepts and Technologies, programs that are operating in El Segundo CA, McKinney TX, and Goleta CA. They will develop project requirements, objective, priorities, business case, budgets, and staffing requirements for and with customers in the closed program spaces. The position will also liaise with the ISRS and ACT product line directors and program management to set priorities and forecasts for upcoming activities, coordination of pursuits, program execution efforts, and resource loading for program support. This position is responsible for the IT cost, schedule, and performance of IT in the execution of ISRS and ACT programs. Required Skills: Proven ability to manage many projects at one time and portfolios of projects Ability to influence and execute in a matrix environment Ability to handle difficult situations involving senior level management Strong problem solving skills in a team environment Minimum of 8 years of experience in at least one of the following fields: project management, systems engineering, information technology management Experience in identifying and managing assumptions, risks, and opportunities associated with proposals, projects, and/or programs US Citizen Desired Skills: Experience in facilitating and responding to Requests for Information (RFI) and Proposals (RFP) Knowledge of tool architectures and interfaces Experience in working or interfacing with large-scale programs and senior leaders Knowledge of other program disciplines – including hardware, integration and test, configuration management, quality management, etc Knowledge of industry standards and assessments such as 6Sigma, ISO, RMF, CMMI, etc PMP Certification Required Education: BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, or other technical or business degree This position requires a U.S. person or the ability to obtain an Export Authorization from the appropriate government agency for non-U.S. persons U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date 108730
