Description :

Responsible for solution development, competitive costing, commercial proposition integration and business case alignment of solutions supporting client business, applications and/or information technology environments. Solution scope includes ongoing delivery of services, services startup and transition, initial people, technology and process transformation as well as ongoing refresh, meeting client's specifications, strategic direction, technology context, and business needs. Confidently articulates all aspects of solution and persuasively communicates value to the client. Influences client evaluation criteria and decision making. Works individually, in teams or as leader, to determine customer requirements in complex and often ambiguous outsourced environments. Interacts effectively with team, pursuit leaders, internal governance and business leadership to advance sales efforts.


Managing the Business

 Manages teams or managers of teams of solution professionals to provide accurate, deliverable, competitive, and profitable solutions in support of company opportunities.

 Translates business goals into actionable solution utilization plans that reflect the requirements and opportunities within area of control.

 Proactively addresses regional solution coverage gaps and leverages solution expertise where warranted to win opportunities for the company

 Actively engages in driving sales strategy; collaborates within the compay and with the field to prioritize, facilitate and direct the use of resources; proactively assesses sales pipelines in area of control to ensure appropriate and timely utilization of solution architect

 Collaborates effectively across organizational boundaries to ensure a positive “voice-from the-field” presence in business decision making and offering design.

 Continuously monitors, troubleshoots, and improves solutioning practices to ensure alignment with company's business direction, the quality of business practices, optimum organizational performance and a highly motivated solution architect team.

 Exhibits authoritative business, financial and legal acumen to develop meaningful business recommendations. Understands what it takes to manage a business and uses these insights to gain better understanding of a client’s/customer’s needs and to position the value of company’s offers

 Consultative selling – strategizes with and coaches their team on how to apply consultative-selling techniques to advance opportunities that result in ongoing profitable revenue growth for the company; Compellingly positions company as the partner of choice for strategic, enterprise-wide IT solutions; Identifies the measurable value and/or impact of company offerings and clarifies for customers the key differentiators that distinguish company's solutions from those offered by its competitors

 Financial selling – employs a financial selling approach to meet customer needs; works with pursuit team to build business cases that link solutions to customer’s goals, strategies and relevant business metrics, and that demonstrate industry and competitive alignment
