Job Description


  • Provide first tier support for user problems relating to hardware and software issues

  • Diagnose and repair reported problems, which includes documentation of all pertinent end-user information and of the nature of the problem

  • Follow-up on unresolved issues and projects

  • Test fixes to ensure problems have been resolved

  • Assist with internal physical moves of PCs, telephones, etc.

  • Prepares and maintains system documentation and operating procedures

  • Complete special projects as requested by supervisor

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Enrolled at the Graduate level with a min of 3.25 GPA or higher.

  • No prior experience required

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Must have working knowledge of network, desktop and laptop platforms (Windows, Mac) and related software (MS Office, Adobe, Virus tools).

  • Must be a customer service focused individual with the ability to handle customer interactions with diplomacy and tact.

  • Posess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to gauge the customer's technical ability and communicate with them in an appropriate technical or non-technical language.

  • Excellent communication skills with the English language to provide effective phone, desk-side, and email support.

  • Strong attention to details.

  • Ability to handle confidential information in an appropriate manner.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

Special Requirements

  • Must be available to work 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 4 to 6 hour blocks per day.
