The candidate will serve as the on-site Cyber Security Technical Lead and will be responsible for coordinating execution of program technical requirements, project/task initiation, and oversight of all prime/sub project tasks and sub-tasks. The candidate will monitor and report on status of all technical efforts to government client(s) and ensure deliverables meet customer requirements. The Technical Lead will provide periodic progress reports to the PM to keep him/her informed on the status of activities performed and time expensed. The Technical Lead will work with the PM in performing Risk Management. The Technical Lead will perform Requirements Management to ensure control and tracking mechanisms are established and followed. Position is full-time during normal duty hours at Joint Base San Antonio. Travel (less than 25%) is required for this position.


  • Bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer and Information Security, Computer Security, and/or Network Administration from an accredited university/college with ten (10) years’ experience; Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related scientific/technical field with seven (7) years’ experience; PhD in Computer Science or related discipline with four (4) years’ experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience

  • A minimum of seven (7) years recent experience in the direct performance of a major program, project, or activity relating to Information Technology, Ethical Hacking, Cyber Security, and/or Information Assurance

  • Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and deeper knowledge of application layer (L7) protocols like HTTP, FTP, DNS etc

  • Deconstruction and analysis of network-based vulnerabilities and exploits

  • Solid understanding of various types of vulnerabilities, exploits and exploit techniques

  • Demonstrated experience managing large teams consisting of both prime and subs

  • Strong knowledge of all Microsoft Office products

  • Strong leadership and communication skills are critical

  • Clearance level of TS/SCI desired
