Baylor Scott & White Health Clinical Application Specialist I in Temple, Texas

The Clinical Applications Specialist I maintain changes to referential data, across clinical applications assigned. Reviews monthly clinical updates and keeps application data current with industry standards. The Clinical Applications Specialist I support the implementation of new functionality in the application, such as new interfaces, by contributing to clinical requirements definition, participating in testing and developing related workflows. The Clinical Applications Specialist I tests new and existing functionality prior to application upgrades and releases. The Clinical Applications Specialist I work with other members of the clinical application support team for the resolution of user problem tickets and diagnosis of application errors. The Clinical Applications Specialist I effectively communicate with non-technical users to resolve problems and errors in the clinical application. The Clinical Applications Specialist I assists with data clean-up and preloading efforts in the clinical application. The Clinical Applications Specialist I researches patient data across multiple applications to resolve discrepancy errors, both in clinical and demographic areas (front office and back office). The ideal candidate demonstrates proficiency in understanding the application functionality, reporting capability, interfacing and integration associated with clinical applications assigned; has excellent verbal communications and interpersonal skills while demonstrated commitment to effective customer service delivery, integrity, and the ability to work productively as a member of a team or work group.
