POSITION DESCRIPTION: Provide overall project Systems Completion leadership & expertise during construction & commissioning; provide subject matter expertise in the field of Facilities Systems Completion & heavily participate in the building of Company’s global standards, systems & processes; assist the Commissioning Manager in the preparation of Zenator (or other CMS) & completions documents, & identify resources to review the documents as required; liaise & interface with Information Management positions to ensure completions data supports project IM requirements; develop electronic interfaces with other Kiewit applications & tools; identify & resolve project related completions issues; coordinate with Commissioning & Completions advisors to maintain compliance with Kiewit completions standards; train project staff in the use of Zenator & the systems completions process model; ensure appropriate witnessing & results of static & dynamic commissioning including FATs & SITs; ensure appropriate systems Mechanical Completion, Commissioning, & Project Turnover documentation is completed; provide Commissioning Management System (Zenator) information to project Commissioning Manager for daily status meetings; closely work with the Contractors to ensure project inspect & test record quality is satisfactory attained; assist Commissioning Manager in working with the Start-up Team to achieve successful turnover, start-up, & acceptance by Operations; develop plans & interfaces to ensure a safe & effective field completion phase & transition of systems to steady state operations; assist in the development of Completion & Turnover Packages; ensure that projects utilize a computerized Systems Completion Database (Currently Zenator) for completion progress tracking, certification, & quality purposes; interface with Commissioning Manager in seeking assistance for solving problems; provide front-line project support for Zenator & provide a single point of contact for incident management of the application; & identify system limits on engineering deliverables under the guidance of the Commissioning Manager. Travel required up to 25% of the time.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Electronic Engineering or related. 5 years’ exp as a Computer Programmer or related IT position. Five years’ post bachelor’s exp is required & must include: Zenator deployment/Programming/Configuration & release management with various server architectures; working with Major Capital Projects executing Zenator towards completion & commissioning/operations; provisioning & decommissioning of Application & database servers using Zenator; identifying & resolving project related systems completion issues/End user support; overall systems completion leadership & expertise during construction & commissioning; writing stored procedures & creating customized reports using SQL Server 2014, XML technologies; & in using MS Office suites such as Excel VBA, MS Visio assisting Systems completion execution.
