Regency Healthcare IT Helpdesk Intern in Victoria, Texas

Regency Integrated Health Services is seeking an IT/Help-desk Intern to join our Corporate Technology team - located in Victoria, TX! The IT Help-desk Intern will have an opportunity to learn and excel with Windows based systems in a comfortable, fast paced environment.

The candidate must be currently attending college or have recently graduated and interested in pursuing a career in Information Technology. This is a paid internship that starts at a minimum hourly wage. Please note this position does not allow for remote workers, candidates must be able to report to the corporate office in Victoria, TX on scheduled work days.

Receive, log and assist with Asset Management and Inventory of desktop/laptop computers with accessories.

  • Assist with building new desktop and laptop with images and other configurations for distribution.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve end-user hardware, operating system, and software-related problems, when possible from the Help Desk Supervisor

  • Prepare forms and templates using Microsoft 2013 Excel, Word, or Project.

  • Research and troubleshoot unfamiliar errors using on-line knowledge base and other resources to effectively identify and resolve problems.

  • Provide desktop assembly, assistance, and support to project implementations

Technical Requirements

  • Have received training on Windows operating systems – Windows XP, 7, 8.1 and above

  • Working knowledge of Windows printing functions

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Basic knowledge of PC Hardware, Ethernet networking infrastructure and IP protocols desired
